Little Common village offers residents and visitors alike, the biggest and warmest of welcomes.
Since 1200AD when the first recorded maps of the area were created and the time when the Town of Bexhill was created, Little Common was already there, obviously not as it is today, but a community that was working together and to this day that still holds true.

Many of the groups, associations and clubs have been part of the community for over 100 years; some of the businesses have been here for that kind of time, still trading in the same families.
As a visitor, you are guaranteed a hearty welcome from all the shopkeepers, who in most cases are owner-occupiers. They and their staff are all-eager to offer advice and service that is second to none. We are proud and thankful to still have at the hub of the village, the Post Office; we have the butcher, the baker - sadly not the candlestick maker, but in his place a jolly fine traditional hardware shop.
If you are thinking of moving to our village you will be welcomed and overwhelmed by the amount of community resources and events on offer. We are blessed with three churches, a Royal British Legion Club, a Community Centre that offers an enormous variety of activities including a fine library, dancing clubs, Badminton, cubs, scouts and brownies, a crèche, and many more things to interest and occupy you.
The Little Common Business Association has approximately sixty members, all offering personal service and offering the most diverse range of goods and services anywhere in the area. You will find lots of information about our Village on this web site. Look no further to find everything from:
