Official web site for Little Common and Cooden area providing information on local business's and services within the community.
This is the new official website for the Little Common and Cooden area produced by the Little Common Business Association to support the local community and business's.
The site is still being developed so if you do not find what you are looking for come back again to see what we have added or alternatively contact with your suggestions.
Little Common and Cooden are ideally situated between lovely rural scenery, including the Highwoods ( a site of Special Scientific Interest) with woodland walks, and the fabulous shingle beach at Cooden Beach, popular with windsurfers and kite surfers.
The village is fortunate to have a good selection of shops and amenities serving the local residents. Wander round the village and you will discover all the shops you need on a daily basis. Most are independantly owned and have been in existance for many years and in many cases decades. What you will not find is empty shops (there are currently just 2) In the last two years a total of 12 have either opened or had a change of owners showing the confidence business's have in the area.
The main shopping streets are supported by a bustling community centre, 3 churches, a primary school a doctors surgery and a wide range of sports and social clubs.
The Little Common Business Association has existed in the village for many years and provides the glorious floral displays in the summer and the Christmas lights in the winter. It also organises several events throughout the year.
If you have a local business and are interested in knowing more about the LCBA or having a listing on this web site, please contact us.
