Little Common   &   Cooden

Welcome to Little Common & Cooden

Little Common and Cooden are ideally situated between lovely rural scenery, including the Highwoods ( a site of Special Scientific Interest) with woodland walks, and the fabulous shingle beach at Cooden Beach, popular with windsurfers and kite surfers.

The Business Community

Little Common and Cooden have over 80 thriving businesses, many of which can be found on our local Business listing, plus a strong sense of community. Many of the local businesses are members of the Little Common Business Association, formed to promote local business interests and maintain a strong business community that also participates in the wider village life.

If you have a local business and are interested in knowing more about the LCBA or having a listing on this website, please contact us.

Village Community Events

Each Spring, the village offers a floral feast as members of the Little Common Business Association (LCBA) and residents enter the Bexhill in Bloom and Village in Bloom competitions.

At Christmas, the village enters into the festive spirit with Christmas Lights and a Carol Service and this year, there was also a Festive Saturday Christmas Shopping Event on 12th December. Read about the 2009 Christmas Events.

In the Summer, the popular Little Common Village Fayre is held in the grounds of The Wheatsheaf.

With a new Sports Pavilion at the Little Common Recreation Ground, and continuing efforts by members of the LCBA and local residents, the Village will always have something for everyone.

There is a wide range of sports clubs, hobby & activity and social clubs, groups and other organisations in Little Common and Cooden that welcome new members and supporters. See our Local Activities & Clubs listings.

Come to Little Common and Cooden.
You never know what you might find!
