Little Common Bucks The Trend
The village of Little Common is a thriving shopping area and despite the country being in a recession two new businesses have opened in Little Common this month with a third set to open in September. It is good news for the village which has a wide variety of shops and services.
The first to open was the Hair Fairy with owner Katie Foster opening her own salon with stylist Natalie Briley. This was followed by Ashe Alarms a family run company from Kent which has opened a branch here to back up the work they were already doing in the area.
The Refurb Co. (UK) Ltd and Ecofurb (UK) Ltd have their official opening on Saturday 19th September. Both companies are family run by Darren and Karen and this will be their first showroom opened to support the increase in demand for their products and services.
These new businesses will serve to enhance the existing hair salons and home improvement showrooms already on offer within the village.
Everybody is extremely conscious of the down turn in our economy and we hear so much doom and gloom in the press that it makes you feel there is no hope for a brighter future. Well in Little Common the business community are proud of their exceptional personal service, keen prices and the quality of the goods and services they offer are second to none. Those who have dealt with our traders for years come back because they know we care.
We also believe that we can help to address the problems facing us all with climate change, we offer in a very small area a huge variety of products and services so why travel any further than Little Common, we have banks, a butcher and baker, hairdressers, financial advisers, kitchen and bathroom designers and fitters, hardware, an electrical supply company to match any multiple, a supermarket and convenience stores, double glazing, estate agent, a carpet company, a wonderful hotel. a dry cleaners, a superb delicatessen, a book makers, restaurants and a coffee shop, so when you have finished all that a need to travel home we even have a taxi company close at hand to take you home.
When you come to our village for the first time we are sure you will find every shop a pleasure to visit, a lovely atmosphere where you will experience old fashioned care and service. We look forward to serving you.
Stuart Earl, Chairman.
