The Mayor of Bexhill, Cllr Abul Azad, particularly wanted to visit all the businesses in Little Common, Cooden and surrounding areas personally to ask for their support for raffle prizes for his two local chosen charities, which are Bexhill Caring Community and Special Kids Bexhill. Throughout his year of being mayor, he has had a very high profile and been a great asset to the Bexhill-on-Sea community. The Mayor’s Ball, which is being held at the Cooden Beach Hotel on 23 March 2019 is in his honour for his past services.
He came to Little Common and Cooden on Tuesday, 19th February 2019. Below are photographs of his meeting up with several owners of village businesses. The images were sent to us by Jeannette Austin, a former Secretary of the LCCBA, who still raising funds for the summer flowers and Christmas lights. She has been helping the Mayor get raffle prizes for his Ball and the above two charities. She says that the traders generosity has been fantastic.
Cllr Abul Azad, visited Little Common traders again on 28 February to collect more prizes for the Ball being held at the Cooden Beach Hotel on Saturday, 23 March for his two chosen local charities, who are Bexhill Caring Community and Special Kids Bexhill.
